For months, the Coalition has been gaining ground in the polls. If the current trajectory continues, Peter Dutton will be on track for a majority, opening the door to an extremist Trump-inspired agenda becoming government policy.
We know what that would look like - chaos, division and climate catastrophe.
Dutton has praised Trump as a "big thinker and a deal maker". Michaelia Cash, leader of the Opposition in the Senate praised “action” being taken in the US, and declared the Australian people “would get the exact same attitude under a Dutton government.”
We cannot let that happen.
Right now, there are thirty five community independents in urgent need of funding. If we can build every one of these campaigns a war-chest, there’s a very real chance they can win seats. Every independent we add to the pro-climate cross-bench is another line of defence against Dutton’s Trump-inspired agenda.

Climate 200 only accepts donations from Australian citizens, permanent residents and Australian companies. Climate 200 is required to disclose the name and address of any person or entity that makes donations above the $16,900 disclosure threshold in the financial year ending 30 June 2025.
