Independents need your help to fight back. Donate today!

Pre-poll has kicked off and as thousands of undecided voters head to polling booths, they're being bombarded with fossil-fuel-funded disinformation and attack ads.

Our latest polling shows 8 independent challengers are within few points of winning, and four independent held seats are on a knife's edge. At least a third of the electorate will cast their votes before election day — the race to reach undecided early voters will determine the outcome in these crucial seats.

If independents lose that race, undecided voters will be casting their votes having only seen the nasty flyers and billboards funded by the fossil fuel lobby.

To fight back and ensure undecided voters know they have an independent alternative to the major parties, campaigns will need to spend:

$48 will put how-to-vote cards in the hands of 500 undecided early voters.
$95
prints enough how-to-vote cards for one vollie to hand out to undecided voters every day between now and election day.
$230
covers shirts, caps and fliers for two vollies to reach thousands of undecided early voters over 10 pre-poll shifts each.
$510
completely covers two early polling stations in independent signage between now and election day.
$1,000 will reach three hundred undecided voters with strategic digital advertising.
$2,500
cover all prepoll locations in one electorate with signage and bunting.
$5,000
make sure every prepoll shift has volunteers with printed material, shirts, and signage in one of eight electorates.
$10,000
make sure every prepoll shift has volunteers with printed material, shirts, and signage in two of eight electorates.

Every contribution helps. Chip in now to help independents reach undecided voters.

A commendable goal

We’re frustrated and embarrassed with the lack of meaningful action at the federal level in Australia to address the Climate Emergency. We strongly feel there is a need for more people in the federal government that have the integrity and the independence to act in the interests of future generations. Please join us in supporting the work being done by Climate 200 at this pivotal point.
