Major Giving Lead

Climate 200 is expanding our Major Donor Team to meet our ambitious goals to back independents in the next Federal election.

The Major Giving Lead must be able to create direct relationships with donors in order to deliver their support. Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify and approach HNWs with high potential to support Climate 200, through research and activation of existing networks. 
  • Develop and implement personalised cultivation and fundraising strategies to build relationships with potential donors, aligning their interests with the mission and goals of Climate 200.
  • Secure donor commitments to the community independents movement.
  • Inspire and empower new donors to activate giving circles within their networks.
  • Deliver major donor appeals to acquire, retain and reactivate major donors. 
  • Help deliver an integrated retention and engagement program.
  • Prepare compelling presentations and reports on specific funding priorities.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop these.
Community Outreach caller

Climate 200 is looking for an enthusiastic and engaging caller who is keen to gain experience in a high-impact for-purpose organisation:

  • Making calls to the Climate 200 community to provide campaign updates, recruit people to attend events, and chip in to support our fundraising efforts.
  • Working towards ambitious team fundraising targets, bringing in one-off and recurring donations from small scale donors.
  • Participating in, and helping to shape, a targeted calling campaign.
  • Providing insights to the organisation from your conversations with the donor community.
