At 3°C of warming, severe & extreme heatwave days will quadruple, coastal flooding will last 272 days per year, and heat-related deaths will increase by 300% or more across Perth, Sydney, Darwin and Townsville. It shows that climate inaction stands to impact every electorate in the country.
But new climate leaders are stepping up in urban communities at risk of extreme heat, in coastal communities at risk of sea level rise, in remote communities at risk of water shortages, and in the alpine forests and Gondwanan rainforest at risk of vanishing. And they need your help.
