We have the pleasure of hosting Zack Exley, a Democrat insider and one of the most influential strategists in US politics, in the Eco-Village.

You’ll have the opportunity to hear Zack’s reflections on the presidential campaign so far.

We will also hear about his experience mobilising grassroots movements in the Bernie Sanders presidential run, and the groundbreaking campaign that elected Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Zack is also the mastermind behind Green New Deal, a plan to tackle the climate crisis while also revitalising the US economies, major elements of which ended up in the Biden administration's Inflation Reduction Act.

Zack is out here on a study tour learning about the Community Independents Movement, so the conversation will also explore why he is interested in this Australian phenomenon.
