And what does Zack Exley, a top Democrat election strategist, want to learn from the Melbourne community group that unseated the Treasurer?
What: Online (Zoom) workshop featuring Zack Exley in conversation with Ann Capling.
When: Thursday 19 September, 7-8:30pm AEST
Where: Online Event (Zoom)
Zack Exley has been behind some of the biggest people-powered campaigns in U.S history, including Obama's Presidential campaign in 2008 and Bernie Sanders’ 2016 primary.
He was also the co-founder of Justice Democrats and Brand New Congress, the campaigns which led to the election of visionary new leaders like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Ann Capling is a political scientist who came out of retirement to co-found Voices of Kooyong at the last Federal election.
Ann was a driving force behind transforming this volunteer run community group into the campaign that unseated Treasurer Josh Frydenberg and elected Dr Monique Ryan.
